Bring on 2024, Happy New Year

We love serving our customers in Cairns, it’s a great place to be. In 2024 we have some new ideas, and we will be looking for ways to serve you even better.

Cairns had a challenging end to the year when hit by Cyclone Jasper, but it was great to see the community come together to help each other clean up. Our Innisfail store was affected by the floods but luckily didn’t suffer major damage.

My husband Trent and I drove down as soon as it was safe to help clean the carpets and remove anything damaged by the water. Thanks to our Innisfail team: Veronica, Mel, and Jon our Dispensing Robot Manager for helping us get back on track. We’re lucky to have a supportive team, you guys rock.

Alive Pharmacies are also administering the new COVID-19 vaccination called XBB1.5. After a recent increase in COVID-19 cases, the TGA has approved the new COVID-19 vaccine variant which is now the preferred booster vaccination because it is more effective in targeting the sub variant of the virus.
