Initial Filling and Refilling The tank should be carried using two hands. One hand using the carrying handle located on top of the tank and the other hand supporting the base. 1. Remove tank by lifting upwards from base, and turn upside down. 2. Turn the tank cap in the direction of the open lock sign to remove. 3. Fill tank with cool water. Do not fill with warm or hot water, (see notes on water quality). 4. Securely replace tank cap, aligning arrow with the lock symbol. 5. Place tank back on the base. Using the Vicks Mini CoolMist Humidifier: 1. With the power knob in the “off” position, plug humidifier into electrical outlet. Always ensure hands are dry. 2. Turn the power knob to the highest setting. 3. Direct mist output away from walls, furniture and bedding. 4. Adjust to desired level of vapour output. Using Vicks VapoPads: 1. Use Vicks VapoPads with your humidifier to provide up to 8 hours of soothing vapours. 2. Open scent pad door. 3. Open VapoPads by tearing notch on pad bag. Do not touch pad with hands. If pad is touched, wash hands and do not rub face or eyes as it may cause irritation. 4. Insert VapoPads with angled end facing towards the product and close door. 5. After 8 hours discard scent pad. To continue using scent pads, repeat steps 1-4. To properly clean your humidifier we recommend the separate processes of Disinfecting and Scale Removal. These two processes must be performed separately. End of season care and storage: - At the end of the season follow the Cleaning Instructions for Disinfecting and Removing Scale from your Vicks Mini CoolMist Humidifier. Remove any VapoPads and any other accessories used with the humidifier and allow all components to dry completely before storing. - Do not store with water inside the base, water reservoir or tank. - Pack unit safely and store in a cool, dry location.

Using Your Personal Sinus Inhaler 1. Fully unravel cord. Failure to do so could cause overheating and possible fire hazard. DO NOT use with extension cords or power strip. Place Inhaler on a flat, stable surface for use. 2. Unlock the Top Housing from the Base by twisting the Top Housing counter clockwise. When fully unlocked, the arrow on the Top Housing will align with the unlock symbol on the Base. Lift the Top Housing straight up and set aside. 3. Fill Water Reservoir with up to 2.5 tablespoons (40mL) of cool tap water. DO NOT fill above Heating Element. Use with tap water only. DO NOT add any essential oils, medication or inhalant liquids to the Water Reservoir. These will damage the unit and void the warranty. 4. Place Top Housing on the Base and twist clockwise to lock. When fully locked, you will feel a click and the arrow on the Top Housing will align with the lock symbol on Base. 5. Place Mask on Top Housing and gently push down to ensure Mask is secure. NEVER move, lift, shake or tilt the Sinus Inhaler while it is in use or while it contains hot water. DO NOT remove the Mask or Top Housing after turning ON the Inhaler. Steam is produced by boiling water; tilting or shaking unit can cause water to spill and possible burns. DO NOT block any vents. 6. Connect cord to electrical outlet. DO NOT use with extension cord or power strip. Press the On/Off Switch to the ON position. The Indicator Light will illuminate. 7. The Sinus Inhaler will take approximately 6 minutes to begin making steam. Use caution, the Water Reservoir and water will become hot. 8. Place your face over the Mask. DO NOT rest your face on the Mask. Breathe normally through your nose and mouth, inhaling steam into your nasal and throat passages. Continue application for five to fifteen minutes. 9. Adjusting steam intensity: A. For More Steam: Move the Steam Disk Control clockwise for maximum steam. B. For Less Steam: Move the Steam Disk Control counterclockwise for minimum steam. If at any time the application becomes too intense, stop application immediately. 10. When application is complete, move Power Switch to the OFF position. The Indicator Light will go out. Disconnect plug from electrical outlet. Allow the appliance to cool for at least 20 minutes before moving or refilling it (see Care and Cleaning section). DO NOT operate Sinus Inhaler when empty. NOTE: Sinus Inhaler will automatically shut-off when water runs out. If this happens, move Power Switch to OFF position and unplug unit. Using Vicks VapoPads Your Vicks Sinus Inhaler can be used with Vicks VapoPads, to provide up to 8 hours of soothing vapors. Two samples of the VapoPads are included with your device. To use your unit with scent pads, ensure that the unit is OFF and follow these instructions: 1. Gently slide out the VapoPad Tray from the back of the Top Housing. Note: Only slide Tray out. DO NOT attempt to detach the Tray from the Top Housing. 2. Open VapoPad sachet by tearing notch on pad bag. DO NOT touch pad with hands. If pad is touched, DO NOT rub face or eyes as it may cause irritation. 3. Insert Vicks VapoPad with angled end at the front of the tray. Up to two scent pads can be inserted, one in each slot of the VapoPad Tray. Push VapoPad Tray in to close. 4. When the VapoPad is dried and no longer providing scent, discard. NOTE: DO NOT operate Sinus Inhaler if VapoPad Tray is missing or not secured. For use with Vicks VapoPads only. Not for use with essential oils or inhalants. These will damage the unit and void the warranty.

Care should be taken when using the appliance due to the emission of steam. This Sinus Inhaler (with or without Vicks VapoPads) is not recommended for use by children under 8 years. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

After each use, empty any unused water from the container, rinse thoroughly and drain and wipe with a dry, clean cloth. The stainless steel heater is also easy to clean. After prolonged use (greater than 150 hours) the heater surface should be cleaned. To do this, simply soak the unit in 8cm of white vinegar for 10 minutes, then using a butter knife to gently remove any minerals from the metal heater surface.

Fill bottom half to the indicated water line using hot (not boiling) tap water. NOTE: if you overfill, the unit will leak. 4. Open Vicks VapoPads (included) and add to the water or add 1 capful of Vicks VapoSteam Inhalant to the water. Replace the top and inhale steam. 5. Breathe in the soothing Vicks vapours. Can be used as often as required.

Add inhalant - 1ml per 250ml of water used, or 4ml per litre. Seated comfortably with feet on the floor, lean over the steaming bowl and inhale the vapours. It can help to drape a towel over the head and shoulders to form a 'tent' while inhaling the steam.

Each 1ml of Euky Bear Inhalant contains: Eucalyptus Oil 225mg, Menthol 24mg, Rosemary Oil 20mg & Methyl Salicylate 5mg.

After use, empty out any remaining water and VapoSteam and use fresh water and VapoSteam each time the vaporiser is used. In a personal inhaler: use 2.5ml (1/2 teaspoon) for each litre of water and use as per manufacturer's instructions In a bowl of hot water: use 2.5ml (1/2 teaspoon) for each litre of water. Pour into a bowl of steaming hot water and, placing a towel over your head, inhale the vapours. Place bowl on a stable surface.
