What is a supervised Rapid Antigen Test (RAT)?

- The result of that test

When would I need a supervised Rapid Antigen Test?

Some countries require travellers to provide a supervised RAT certificate at the time of their entry. If this is the case, you will need to provide this document when travelling internationally to such destinations. It is the responsibility of the traveller to prepare the appropriate documentation to meet all the criteria of the country they want to visit.

Australian states and territories requiring testing prior to domestic travel will accept pharmacist supervised RATs. Always check with the airline, as requirements are constantly changing.

Patient understanding and responsibility

Before any international or domestic travel, it is the responsibility of the patient to check their airline and final destinations requirements and prepare all the necessary documentation for entry. This includes confirming if a pharmacist supervised RAT is acceptable.

Do I need to wear a mask to get a supervised RAT?

When entering the pharmacy please wear a mask at all times prior to and after getting your supervised Rapid Antigen Test. When administering your test you are not required to wear a mask.

Will a supervised RAT meet all requirements?

Alive Pharmacy Warehouse cannot guarantee that a supervised Rapid Antigen Test will meet all the final destinations requirements for entry. Requirements for international travel are constantly changing. If a pharmacist supervised RAT is suitable, please bring any additional requirements that may be required with you so that the pharmacist can enter these into the certificate at the time of issuing.
